A revista NMW, especializada em música e considerada uma das bíblias do assunto, divulgou a tão esperada lista dos 50 melhores discos de 2006, e adivinhem? Tem brasileiro na parada.
Trata-se do Cansei de Ser Sexy, grupo paulista que em 2006 consagrou sua carreira internacional recebendo elogios de diversas publicações estrangeiras.
O disco CSS garantiu o 5º lugar na lista, deixando 45 gringos pra trás, entre eles, as sensações The Killers, Panic at the Disco!, Beck e o veterano Bob Dylan.
Destaque para o disco de estréia da dupla Gnarls Barkley que ficou em 6º lugar, puxado por um dos hits do ano, Crazy.
Os três primeiros lugares (Arctic Monkeys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs e Muse) surpreenderam por não serem artistas tão populares. Mas, mesmo sem rádios, TV e CD, o Arctic Monkey virou uma febre na internet. Com um disco lançado, o sucesso só tinha de aumentar mesmo.
