Foi divulgada nesta quinta (17) a lista dos indicados ao MTV Video Music Awards. A premiação, que contará com apresentações de Ariana Grande, 5 Seconds Of Summer e Usher, acontecerá no dia 24 de agosto.
Liderando as indicações, está Beyoncé, que está listada em oito categorias, dentre elas Vídeo do Ano por Drunk In Love, Melhor Vídeo de uma Mulher por Partition e Melhor Vídeo com uma Mensagem Social por Pretty Hurts.
Miley Cyrus, Iggy Azalea, Sia e Pharrell são os outros indicados a Vídeo do Ano, por Wrecking Ball, Fancy e Happy, respectivamente.
Duas ausências também chamaram atenção. Britney Spears não conseguiu emplacar nenhum vídeo de seu último álbum, Britney Jean, na lista. Lady Gaga também não teve seus vídeos Applause e G.U.Y. em nenhum lugar da lista de indicados.
