A Academia de Artes e Ciências da Televisão dos Estados Unidos celebra hoje a 62ª edição de entrega dos prêmios Emmy, o Oscar da televisão, em cerimônia que acontecerá no teatro Nokia de Los Angeles.
Entre os favoritos para ficar com o Emmy em 2010 estão as séries Mad Men, Dexter, Breaking Bad e Lost, na categoria de drama, enquanto em comédia a disputa estará entre a veterana 30 Rock e as novidades Modern Family e Glee.
A festa começa às 17h (horário local, 21h de Brasília) e terá como apresentador Jimmy Fallon, do programa noturno Late Night with Jimmy Fallon na rede NBC. Pela primeira vez a premiação poderá ser vista ao vivo simultaneamente de costa a costa nos EUA.
Junto a Fallon passarão pelo palco para divulgar os nomes dos ganhadores estrelas da televisão como Ted Danson, Emily Deschanel, Edie Falco, Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Neil Patrick Harris, Eva Longoria, Jim Parsons, Matthew Perry e Betty White.
