And music fan Natalie Sharp, 33, decided to pay tribute to some of the best by recreating the art on her face. She asked her Facebook friends for suggestions and finally drilled the 40-plus best suggestions down to eight. Painting the straight lines of the bent silver bell over my face would only work If I continued to look straight into my handheld magnifying mirror. Natalie SharpKing Crimson – The Court of the Crimson KingKing Crimson – The Court of the Crimson King "However Painting King Crimson and Peter Gabriel was an absolute joy as they're both very painterly. In fact I barely used my brushes for King Crimson, I would just keep smudging it with my fingers." Natalie SharpPeter Gabriel – MeltPeter Gabriel – Melt The musician who uses the alter-ego Lone Taxidermist also works as a make-up artist, so thought Record Store Day seemed like a good way of merging both of her passions. Natalie, from east London, said: "One of the reasons why I love vinyl is because of its true long playing physical format. I decided to listen to each album in full from start to end over and over again until the face was complete." She added: "Every time the album finished I would have a glass of wine! But I was getting too drunk especially after Human League!" Natalie SharpNirvana - NevermindNirvana - Nevermind Nirvana's album Nevermind gave us classic tracks like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium and Come As You Are, but it is just as known for its classic sleeve: One of the all time iconic album sleeves is the Velvet Underground album which featured songstress Nico on vocals was also best known for featuring one of Andy Warhol's prints of a banana on the album sleeve.
